Awarded 1st prize under the Poetry category for a calligram poem at the TATA Lit Live fest in 2015.
Awarded 1st prize for Best Paper Presentation (“Widow Women in Dalit Literature”) at Shri. Rabindranath Tagore State Level English Paper Presentation Competition, 4th February, 2015.
Awarded 2nd prize for research paper titled, “Social Justice in a Judgmental Society: Bagul emancipates “Mother”hood in his short story” at Shodhavari Research Paper Writing Competition, 11th Dec, 2021.
Awarded 2nd prize at Zonal Level and 3rd prize in overall Mumbai University for papers/posters presented at Avishkar Research Convention in 2012 as well as 2013.
Awarded Yoga Teacher Certification on completion of the Teacher’s Training Course from The Yoga Institute, Santacruz in 2016.
Awarded the title of ‘Ruia’s MJ Champ’ by 94.3 Radio One during College MJ Hunt in 201.

Achievements
The chronology of Dr Priyal Panchal’s achievements begins with the publication of her poems and articles in magazines and journals, progressing to research papers and book chapters. She has delivered research papers/poster presentations at several national and international forums, from NAAC Sponsored National Seminar on ‘Strategies for Implementing Best Practices in Teaching-Learning and Evaluation’ to International Multidisciplinary Conference from World Series on Global and Open Heritage – Cities in Life, Literature and Culture, also including the 9th Annual International Conference on Sustainable Development by UN. She has been invited to read her poetry at prestigious venues across the city from Taj Lands Ends for Women Empowered India to the David Sassoon Library for its 150 years celebratory reading and Title Waves Bookstores. She has industry experience and takes pride in making time for a brief rendezvous with poetry amidst academic responsibilities. In 2015, as a Life Skills Educator, she received appreciation from the Times NIE edition through an article titled – “Life Skills training in school” under the ‘School is Cool’ section of the Newspaper. She has also ventured as a Social Entrepreneur for the Union Territory of Daman – the place her ancestors called home.
