Mission Mind:
  • Mental Health is an important part of everyone’s life. As it is rightly said that ‘Mind is everything, what you think you become’ it is important to be mindful towards yourself. We are unique individuals born with unique capabilities.
  • It is important to strike a healthy balance between physical health and mental health in order to be productive and to be a healthy functioning individual. Let us appreciate ourselves for the person we are and polish our untrained strengths as we are a work in progress.
  • My mission has always been and will always be to be able to create an awareness about mental health, to regularise monthly mental health check-ups and to bring about a positive change in a person’s life. “It is okay to be not okay and it is okay to seek help”. Let us end the stigma and be proud that we sought help for ourselves.

Testimonials:
Student testimonials:
  • I really feel like I’ve awakened a new self, because of counselling I could get newfound confidence in my abilities, and because of that confidence I have become a better person, the counsellor that helped me through this journey was very empathetic and kind, she also helped my at every step of the way and never backed down.
  • Therapy has been a sanctuary for me, a space where I’ve learned to cultivate a healthier relationship with myself. Instead of self-criticism and self-doubt, I now work to uplift and nurture myself. I am immensely grateful to the counselor for her unwavering support on my journey to mental and emotional well-being.
  • In my opinion, the purpose of seeking mental health counsellor is to enhance one’s mental health. One should visit a counsellor to know themselves better. It even helps in broadening or changes in one’s perspective. Mental health is crucial for overall well-being, as it directly impacts how we think, feel, and behave, influencing our relationships, work, and daily life.

Faculty testimonials:
  • Work-life balance is easier said than done with a little toddler back home, especially on days when the little one is unwell and cranky. A fleeting thought about the bub swiftly turns into a tornado of worries and work comes to a halt. On a day of being physically at work but mentally at home, I sought help. The counselor’s words calmed down my tornado of thoughts in seconds. Her mindful snack technique helped me accept my feelings, be kind to myself, quench my curiosity about my child’s health and I was able give my 100% at work once again.
  • Awareness about self-care, importance of mental health was conveyed nicely. Thank you. (Feedforward on workshop conduction on self- care with the faculties)
